I'm an artist and textile surface designer. I love to create new art, prints and design! I have always been creative since childhood and naturally pursued it in college. I have degrees in textile design, interior design and studio art and experience working for design firms.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband, son and our two cats.

My process
When designing a new pattern every step is new a beginning and I am always excited for the outcome of my creation. I love getting lost in the process of gathering inspiration from nature and taking photos on my adventures. When sketching with pen and pencil it is rewarding, but one of my favorite media is watercolor paints. I enjoy how the paint can create loose shapes that are free forming. I also like to apply media such as gouache, ink and charcoal in to my designs. While a lot of work goes into hand drawing and painting, I am obsessed with my motif layouts and I enjoy the challenge of layering, drawing and spacing motifs on the computer. Each design I make is unique and made with passion!
